Hailing from Sydney, Australia, longtime friends & collaborators Kristian Attard and Serg Dimitrijevic collided at the beginning of 2013 in Los Angeles, forming what would soon become known as Intergalactix – an interstellar combustion of music, space travel and vintage devices.
Intergalactix have been working behind the scenes for more than a decade on projects with the likes of Cool & Dre, Good Charlotte, Jason Mraz, Heart, Earth Wind & Fire, Kelis, Allen Stone, Ariana Grande, Pras Michel (the Fugees) to Australian heavyweights Jimmy Barnes and PNAU, as well as recording in Miami with Cash Money Records for their previous project. In February 2014, they also supported Zedd on his Jimmy Kimmel Live set.
Intergalactix were destined to be anything but understated; their sound an amalgam of distinctly radiant vocals smeared over driving electronic beats and entangled in a chorus of twisted synths. This multi-instrumentalist production duo is currently in the studio crafting their debut album; a rich and melodic electro-indie record that propels the listener deep into otherworldly dimensions where futuristic-synth-visions reign supreme.
Intergalactix first single Tuesday premiered with Nylon Guys Magazine July 15, 2014, and the accompanying music video with Out Magazine August 22, 2014. Their debut EP, IWSOM (If We Stepped On Mars) dropped August 12, 2014 and was streamed exclusively with Red Bull Music. Fix your eyes on the sky for the much-anticipated landing of Intergalactix.
