songwriter Dan Goddard, joined by guitarist John Cave, bassist Dave Smith, drummer Paul Cigolini, the Volunteers have toured North America, while gaining homegrown critical acclaim (High Times, The Onion, The Deli, Jersey Beat).

Volunteers recent album Spectrophilia, released September of 2008, was recorded with Producer Paul Mahajan (Yeah, Yeah, Yeahs, TV on the Radio, The National) at Monsterland Studios in Brooklyn, NYC.
