If you can't stand listening to DVD commentaries (and we're shocked that there are some geeks who can't!), then you may just love the new series of releases from Rifftrax. The same guys who brought you "Mystery Science Theatre 3000"
and, later, "The Film Crew" are back at it offering up their takes on films that are mostly better forgotten. A whopping ten volumes are released this week running the gamut from "The Three Stooges" to "Plan Nine From Outer Space" to vintage educational shorts.Next, we take a long look at one of the most endearing foulmouthed rednecks in TV history - the incomparable Kenny Powers as brought to life by Danny McBride on "Eastbound and Down" from HBO. The show is infinitely quotable as long as there aren't sensitive ears nearby, so turn on your f---in' radio and listen up!
Rounding out the show will be Bergman's classic "Seven Seal" from Criterion and a classic of a very different sort, "The Outlaw" that made Jane Russel's anatomy quite infamous.
